An unbreakable mineral that is said to compose the bodies of The Crystal Entities, not much is known about Crystalline. It can't be studied since all the tools to collect samples broke as soon as they touched it and in mines, the sight of Crystalline is enough to signal to start digging elsewhere.

          Crystalline is also present in anti-mage blood, though in trace amounts of microscopic crystals. Experiments to create more anti-mages through blood infusions resulted in in poisoning the subject since crystalline seems to have properties similar to heavy metals.

          The Crystal Controller was said to have armor made of crystalline, but how it was forged is unknown since instead of melting, crystalline absorbs heat and fire and discharges it after a sharp movements. It isn't just fire, crystalline can absorb any energy in this fashion and in some cases can manipulate stone and earth in the same way. If Crystalline could be molded into a proper weapon, the wielder could would have a huge advantage in any battle. Being able to absorb any ranged magic spell and redirect it wherever the wielder desires would make anyone deadly.
